Mercy Health Saint Mary's was the first healthcare system in West Michigan to start an HIV clinic and was nationally recognized in 2017 by the U. S. Health Resources and Services administration as one of the highest performing clinics in the nation.
Magic Johnson will be in town helping Mercy Health celebrate their 125th anniversary in health care and Val Lego had a chance to sit down and talk with Dr. David Baumgartner who started the HIV clinic 30 years ago and still runs it today.
