ST. PATRICK’S DAY STREET PARTY! - Saturday, March 17 from 8:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Come get your Irish on at the Irish on Ionia Irish Jig Tent!

Irish on Ionia 2018 will celebrate its eighth year as Michigan’s largest St. Patrick’s Day street festival on St. Patrick’s Day, Saturday, March 17 from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. in downtown Grand Rapids. Stretching up Ionia from Fulton to Oakes, and across Weston from Ionia to Commerce, the event will take over three city-blocks including parking area #3.

Tickets are available at www.irishonionia.com, Stella’s Lounge, HopCat, Grand Rapids Brewing Company and at the gate while supplies last.

HAPPY CAT AT PEOPLE AND PETS - Sunday, March 18 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Come see Happy Cat Cafe & Carol’s Ferals at Laughfest People And Pets! We will have a vendor table set up with information and merchandise for sale.

Tickets are FREE!

Bring your furry (or not so furry) friends to celebrate how funny pets can be! There will be contests, vendor tables, photo booth, giveaways, entertainment, family activities, and more!

  • Most Unique Pet

Winners in each category will receive a trophy and a prize bag filled with goodies. Registration for contests is 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. and the contests start at 12:30 p.m.

Tickets

  • Adults $8 admission
  • Children 12 and under are free
  • Tickets available at the door

Featuring headliners Jimmy Keane & Dennis Cahill. Keane is an all-Ireland star on the piano accordion and Cahill is considered one of the finest guitarists in traditional Irish music. Performances also by Brother Crowe.

Ardan Academy of Irish Dance will dance both nights at 6:30 p.m. You can also sample the best Corned Beef and Bangers and Mash from McGovern’s Catering, Toasted Cheese and Meat Ravioli from Teddy Spaghetti, and the delicious pretzels and scones from The Village Baker. Don’t miss the Silent Auction (different items each night) featuring local favorites and great items from Market Vendors that you know and love from the Festival.

St. Patrick's Day Scavenger Hunt - Saturday, March 17 from 1 to 3 p.m.

Pick up a clue sheet at the front desk and see if you can track down all the locations in the museum our leprechaun visited! This program is open house style so stop by anytime between 1 to 3 p.m.

Admission is always free for Muskegon County residents and just $3 for non-residents.
