Heat up your summer at the Berlin Fair

Each day of the week will celebrate different groups or causes including food donation, senior citizens, disability awareness, kids and veterans.

It’s that time of year again! The Berlin Fair kicks off this Monday. Berlin Fair board member Joan Kutchin stopped by to give us the inside scoop on what to expect.

The Berlin Fair runs Monday, June 18 through Saturday, June 23. Each day of the week will celebrate different groups or causes including food donation, senior citizens, disability awareness, kids and veterans.

Fans in the grand stands will be excited to see the second annual Berlin Truck and Tractor pulls, Unique Motor Sports Night of Destruction, Broken Horn Rodeo and Saturday night races. In addition, livestock and horse shows run all week long. The famous bingo and beer tent will be open Monday through Saturday, starting at 6 p.m.

Back by popular demand, the Whispering Pines Mobile Zoo, Great Lakes Timber Show and Farmer John’s Barnyard Express will be must-stops for children and families. Little ones and adults alike can also enjoy the carnival, which opens on Tuesday at 5 p.m. and runs through Saturday. Those who purchase a wristband for the rides will be entered to win a free car! The drawing will be at 7 p.m. on Saturday. Participants must be present to win.
