'Lawn and Order' in the spring

Our Greenthumb expert Rick Vuyst says don't seed your yards just yet.

When it comes to your lawn, you don't want to start too early. Grass seed germinates at about 50 degrees Fahrenheit so if you seed your yard too early, the only thing you will accomplish is workout.

Our Greenthumb expert Rick Vuyst says there is something you can do instead though. Rake up the leftover leaves and get the sun in under some of those grass blades. That will help your grass grow once it gets a bit warmer.
