It seems like it’s getting earlier and earlier each year, but when it comes to Christmas shopping for toys, retailers are trying to own the market.
With Toys R Us out this year, the nation’s biggest toy sellers aren't wasting any time, getting a jump start on the holiday season.
Target, Walmart and Amazon all released their hottest toys of 2018.
Walmart says it plans to have America's "Best Toy Shop" by promising 30 percent more new toys in stores and 40 percent more toys online.
In the meantime, Target says it's feeling nostalgic and bringing back some childhood favorites like Barbie Dreamhouse and a new version of Baby Alive.
The online retailer Amazon has also released its toy list.
New this year are board games for family game night fun, including one with unicorn poop and another that pops pimples. There are also some familiar favorites. that blow away last year’s version like the L.O.L Surprise house with 85 surprises inside.
So get that gift list ready. It's not even Halloween yet, but the retailers are clearly ready for Christmas.
