One person was killed and two others were shot early Monday morning in what appears to be a domestic dispute, according to police.

The shooting took place around 2:56 a.m. in the 5200 block of Kensington Avenue, leaving a 64-year-old woman dead and injuring a 29-year-old woman and a 33-year-old man.

The suspected shooter is the 29-year-old's ex-boyfriend. The 64-year-old is her mother and the 33-year-old is her boyfriend.

The woman told police that she heard the side door to the home rattling and that the shooter then entered the residence. He first went to her mother's upstairs bedroom and shot her multiple times, before shooting the other two adults.

The shooter fled the scene and is described as a 32-year-old black man, about 5-foot-9 and weighing between 160 and 170 pounds.

Police say two small children were in the home and were unharmed.
