2 arrested after Independent Bank robbed in Grand Rapids

According to police, investigators were able to find the car involved in the robbery within 24 hours.

Two people have been arrested by Grand Rapids police accused of robbing a bank at gunpoint.

Officers responded to the Independent Bank at the corner of Fuller Ave. NE and Plainfield Ave. NE on Tuesday, April 17.

According to police, investigators were able to find the car involved in the robbery within 24 hours.

Police are thanking the "observant" bank employees and witnesses in the area. The two men police arrested are currently in the Kent County Jail, but have not yet been officially charged.
