The Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office announced on Saturday that a deadly mobile home park shooting will be investigated as a homicide.
Deputies were called to the Port of Call Mobile Home Park on County Road in Geneva Township Thursday evening, on a report that the owner of the mobile home had just been shot.
The owner was found dead from a gunshot wound by the front door. That man was later identified as Shaun Pierre Gill, 42, of Geneva Township. He was a longtime resident of the community.
