Every month, a mechanical contracting company in Walker makes an effort to give back.
Andy Egan Co. worked together with Grand Rapids Public Schools to donate books as part of a celebration of March is Reading Month.
The students at East Leonard Elementary received the books Friday, March 16.
"For us it was extremely beneficial because it gave us the opportunity to do programming for free, free programming to help us to host workshops, to host symposiums and so we've done several of these through the year so it just allowed us to do a little bit more," said Christy Buck, executive director of the Mental Health Foundation.
