What a weekend for former Detroit Tigers All-Star Justin Verlander.
On Sunday, he takes the mound for the Houston Astros against his former team for the first time since last year's trade.
But on Saturday morning, Mrs. Verlander, better known as supermodel Kate Upton, made it Instagram-official, announcing that she is pregnant.

Upton, 26, and Verlander, 35, got married last November in a ceremony in Italy just days after Verlander and the Astros won the World Series.
This would be the couple's first child. They got engaged in 2016, when Verlander was still with the Tigers.
Upton was born in St. Joseph. The pair met while filming a commercial for a video game and started dating in 2014, though they tried to keep things private.
Just minutes before the trade deadline last season, Verlander and Upton deliberated together before the pitcher decided to waive his no-trade clause to be sent to Houston. He buoyed the Astros' rotation and helped the team win its first World Series.
On Friday, Verlander met with the Detroit media as the Tigers began a three-game series in Houston. Verlander said he continues to root for the Tigers, except just not this weekend.
