MUSKEGON COUNTY, Mich. — The Grand Rapids Post of the Michigan State Police (MSP) are investigating a fatal crash that happened in Muskegon County Thursday.
A 64-year-old man from Muskegon was killed in the crash after his SUV went off the road, hit a mailbox and a tree, police say.
The crash happened on southbound Maple Island Road, but no exact location was given.
MSP says that they believe the driver suffered a medical incident prior to the SUV leaving the road and hitting the tree.
The driver was pronounced dead on the scene.
