WYOMING, Mich. - A 23-year-old Benton Harbor man is dead after a shooting in Kalamazoo early Saturday morning.
According to authorities, it happened just after 1:30 a.m. on Saturday at J&B Discount Liquor on West Stockbridge Avenue in Kalamazoo.
Investigators say there was a fight that lead up to the shooting of Tykarri Lucas. Officers tried to revive Lucas, but were unsuccessful.
The suspect who shot Lucas fled the scene. The suspect lead authorities to Wyoming, where he was eventually arrested.
The suspect will likely be arraigned Monday -- his details will not be released until after his arraignment.
