Ginell McDonough, 37, allegedly harbored her husband who was wanted by police in Texas, at her home from Jan. 5 to 9.

MUSKEGON, Mich. — A 37-year-old Muskegon woman has been charged with harboring a felon wanted by police in Texas.

Police also arrested another woman, 26-year-old Maya Maxwell in Muskegon. Investigators say Maxwell is Marks' girlfriend. She too is believed to have spent time at McDonough's Muskegon home.

Marks was arrested on Jan. 8 in the Rivertown Crossings Mall parking lot in Grandville, for breaking into his ex-girlfriend's home in August 2018. Bell County District Attorney Henry Garza told KCEN that Marks will be extradited to Bell County on that charge.

His ex-girlfriend, Jenna Scott and her friend, Michael Swearingin have both been missing for almost two weeks. According to KCEN, police may have located the body's of Scott and Swearingin in Oklahoma.

During arraignment McDonough told the district court judge she's a U.S. Army staff sergeant. Bond was set at $75,000. She's also under investigation by Michigan State Police to determine if she knew anything about her husband's whereabouts in recent weeks and if he traveled to Texas in early January.

"There was quite a few pieces of evidence that were gathered that required some forensic evaluation," said D.J. Hilson, Muskegon County Prosecutor. "Including cell phones and computers and that does not happen overnight, so she still remains under investigation until we get a sense of what information might be contained on those devices."
A preliminary hearing on the charge of harboring a felon is set for January 31.
