GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Heartside Health Center, a community benefit ministry of Mercy Health, opened its doors earlier Saturday morning to the neighborhood and community partners for its annual Back-to-School Bash.
Community members and families enjoyed free food, educational opportunities and giveaways, all to prepare to head for the soon approaching back to school season.

The Back-to-School Bash is the Heartside Health Center's of promoting itself as a family practice to the neighborhood, as well as make connections with partner agencies and help the community to understand and utilize the resources the center provides.
In the three years the Heartside Health Center has has the Back-to-School Bash, thousands of children have attended.
