GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- Labor Day is a couple of weeks away, but Michigan State Police are cracking down early on those who choose to drive under the influence.

Troopers with MSP say the end of the summer is one of the deadliest times on the roads. Their "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" campaign kicks off Friday, Aug. 17 and runs through Sept. 3.

During this period if time, you should expect to see more officers patrolling the roads.
