ALLEGAN, Mich. - Opening night for high school football in Michigan is Thursday, August 23, which means the 13 ON YOUR SIDE sports department has a lot of scouting to do before the first 13 On Your Sidelines show that same night. The Allegan Tigers have struggled for a few years now, winning only five games in the last five seasons, but their new coach Chris Madill is bringing a new attitude.
He says no matter who Allegan's facing, you play to win the game. In his first year, he also says wants to qualify for the playoffs and win a conference title.
High hopes for that program, but his reasoning for setting lofty goals is simple.
