Irish on Ionia set to return for 11th year as Michigan's largest St. Patrick's Day street festival

Stretching up Ionia from Fulton to Oakes, and across Weston from Ionia to Commerce will be two separate stages with a variety of entertainment.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Irish on Ionia, presented by HopCat, will be celebrating its 11th year as Michigan's largest St. Patrick's Day street festival.

This year on March 16, Ionia Avenue will take on the festival from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Stretching up Ionia from Fulton to Oakes, and across Weston from Ionia to Commerce will be two separate stages with a variety of entertainment such as live music, dance, street performances and high-energy DJs.

Attendees can celebrate the holiday with live performances by Belfast Gin, Ironwood, Leprecons and Stone Clover, while the DJ stage will feature SNBNY, Slim Tim, VanHekken, Jodi Dro, Colin Chaos, Konundrum and more.

Along with the music will be Irish-inspired and local food trucks, Irish beer, green beer, local craft beer, canned cocktails and zero-proof beverages under heated tents.
