Police identify 20-year-old killed in weekend shooting in Kentwood

The man found dead in his car early Saturday morning has been identified as 20-year-old Martin Eduardo Martinez-Ramirez.

KENTWOOD, Mich. — A 20-year-old who was shot and killed over the weekend has been identified by police.

Martin Eduardo Martinez-Ramirez, of Grand Rapids, was killed early Saturday morning. Officers found him dead in his vehicle in the 5900 block of Wing Avenue around 12:30 a.m. He had sustained a gunshot wound and was declared dead at the scene.

No arrests have been made at this time.
