Virtual visits with health care providers have gotten more and more sophisticated over the past several years.
Spectrum Health is taking yet another step in that direction as it partners with a company called TytoCare to offer an easy-to-use virtual exam kit for patients.
The devices in the kit will enable a medical professional to get clear visuals of a patient’s throat or ear canal, monitor vital signs, and more.
And it’s all done virtually.
Dr. Rima Shah, Spectrum Health’s department chief of primary health, said the TytoCare kits allow physicians to provide the same care they provide in an in-person office visit, just delivered in an even better way for the patient.
The kits work for both primary and specialty care and they save both time and money.
Spectrum Health is offering a special deal for anyone who is interested in purchasing the TytoCare kit between now and the end of the year.
It’s half price, at $149.
Patients who pair it will with the Spectrum Health app will also receive a $50 Amazon gift card from TytoCare.
