The Cedar Springs Red Flannel Festival is celebrating 85 years in 2024 and remains one of the longest-running festivals in the state of Michigan. The big day is Saturday, October 5, but there are a number of events in the week leading up to that day. Catherine Behrendt met up with Festival President Nancy Deyman and Board Secretary Lisa VanMale to hear what's in store. She also got to meet the outgoing Red Flannel Queen and her court, as they were preparing to crown new festival royalty. For the full schedule of events, visit www.redflannelfestival.org.
