It’s time to identify and repair any bumps or bruises at Kaitlin and Kyle Sierzega’s new Rockford home. Various members of the Eastbrook team gather for what they call, "Team Walk," a chance to give the house a once-over, with the idea that many sets of eyes are more likely to see things that need to be addressed.  The walk-through team includes the Construction Manager, sales agent, and Service Manager, along with anyone else who can put eyes on the product.  Construction Manager Caden Davis explained, "We're looking for paint imperfections ... Anything minor such as door handles, rubbing cabinet doors may be loose, those minor things. We hope all the big-ticket items are done. We want to make sure we're really nailing down that punch list, making sure that those items are complete before closing day.”

Sales Agent, Bruce Bylsma, sold the Sierzegas their new home so he feels a sense of responsibility to the buyers.  He believes the Team Walk, and what follows, is a real selling point. “...when that team walk is finished, Caden will have the all the different trades come back in, do their touch ups, any adjustments that have to be made. He gets that done. Then he does a final cleaning. And then when the final cleaning is done, on the day of the closing, we present the house to the customer ready to be lived in.”

And then, to ensure the long-term happiness of the customer,
30-days after close, an Eastbrook paint crew returns to the home for a touch-up visit, repairing dings and scratches from the move-in process.  But, as Service Manager Jason Huls explains, there's more! "... then we partner with them through the first year 90 days, and then again at 11 months, to address any issues that show up during that first year that they live in their new home.”
