Former First Lady Betty Ford is being remembered with a new exhibit inside the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum in Grand Rapids. The exhibit follows Mrs. Ford's journey with breast cancer, and the awareness she created around the disease. At the time of her diagnosis 50 years ago there was discomfort about discussing breast cancer, let alone even saying the word "breast" on television. Betty Ford changed that and women who face similar diagnoses have found unprecedented support in their journeys.
