In the four-minute video, Stiller and Vaughn are still enemies, and seemlessly reprise their beloved roles.

Stiller talked to Entertainment Weekly about reviving the movie for a good cause, down to donning the original costumes.

"To me, it was really important when we said we could do it, the first person I called was Rawson Thurber, who wrote and directed the movie, and said, 'Hey would you get on board with this thing? If you would write and direct this thing, we could put the band back together,'" the 51-year-old actor said. "That was the key to it, these things don't exist in a vacuum in terms of the writing and situation. Once Rawson said yes, I called Vince up, and he immediately said, 'I'm in, let's do it, it's for a good cause.' Then we got Justin Long and Christine Taylor and Missi Pyle and everybody; it was really exciting for us all to get back together. So we got our Halloween costumes, and luckily it's Spandex so it all still kind of fit."

Stiller says fans definitely still have a connection to the movie.

"Now that the movie's been around so long, I hear a lot from kids in their 20s who loved it from when they were kids," he says. "That's the thing I remember from that age: Movies affect you so much, and they stick with you. So that's really kinda cool."

Last month, Stiller and 45-year-old Taylor announced they were splitting after 17 years of marriage.

"With tremendous love and respect for each other, and the 18 years we spent together as a couple, we have made the decision to separate," Stiller and Taylor said in an exclusive statement to ET. "Our priority will continue to be raising our children as devoted parents and the closest of friends."

The actors share two kids together, 15-year-old Ella Olivia and 11-year-old son Quinlin.
