Kim Kardashian Says Her Kids Try to Set Her Up On Dates

Kim Kardashian may not be actively seeking a relationship, but that hasn’t stopped her four kids from acting as matchmakers.

The 43-year-old reality star recently shared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon that her and Kanye West's children -- North West, 11, Saint West, 8, Chicago West, 6, and Psalm West, 5 -- are eager to help her find a new partner.

"It’s so funny because my kids try to set me up," Kim revealed on the late-night show. "They’re ready now, and I’m not."

The star of The Kardashians explained that her children have strong opinions about who she should date, often influenced by their own interests.

"They’re so particular. They make lists," the SKIMS founder shared. "Saint wants me to be with any basketball player or soccer player, and I'm like, 'If you only knew.' Some of my kids want me to be with streamers. They have lists, and they try to sneakily set me up. And I'm like, 'Guys, this just isn't what I want right now.'"

While Kim isn't focused on her dating life, she has found another way to connect with her kids -- through solo trips that cater to their individual hobbies.

"I love to travel solo with each of my kids because it really is this bonding time," Kim said, mentioning that she was on a solo trip to New York City with North. "One is heavily into karate, one is just a full princess into everything glitter. North is into art. Saint is into soccer and basketball. I go to all their personal games… We're going to Spain to see the first Real Madrid game soon. It’s pretty nutty that I travel the world for my kids' interests, but it's fun."

Kim has kept a low profile regarding her love life in recent years. Her last public relationship was with comedian Pete Davidson, which lasted from October 2021 to August 2022. She's also been linked to NFL star Odell Beckham Jr.

In the season finale of The Kardashians in July, Kim opened up about a recent breakup with a mystery man, recalling what led to the split. "[He] started to tell me, 'You work so much. Why don’t you just take the week off?' And I’m like, 'Get out of here,'" Kim recounted, bleeping out the man's name. "Take the week off? That was the beginning of the end."

A source recently told ET, "Kim is mostly focused on work, her kids, and her family, but dating is certainly not out of the question."

"She'd love to date someone that's close to their family, trustworthy, loyal, successful, and most importantly, family and kid driven," the source shared. "That's always Kim's top priority, so she would only be with someone romantically if they fit that general mold."

The source added, "Her friends, of course, want her to find love, but respect that it will happen at her own pace and when she feels the timing is right."

Kim finalized her divorce from Kanye in November 2022 after a lengthy two-year process. One month later, she admitted that she hopes she could one day marry again. She was also famously married to Kris Humphries for 72 hours in 2011 and, before that, eloped with music producer Damon Thomas in 2000 when she was 19 years old.
