ALLEGAN, Mich. — The Allegan County Fair is returning this weekend, complete with rides, a parade, live music and much more.
From Sept. 6-14, the fairground in Allegan will be bustling with activity.
Gates to the fair open at 1 p.m. on Sept. 6, but the festivities really kick off with a Ludacris concert at 7:30 p.m.
After opening day, for the rest of the fair gates will open at 8 a.m.
On Sept. 7, Third Eye Blind will take the stage at 7:30 p.m. with Theory of a Deadman and Of Mice and Men.
Jamey Johnson will perform with special guest Whitey Morgan & The 78's on Sept. 12 at 7:30 p.m.
Country singer Oliver Anthony will be there to round out the live music performances with a concert on Sept. 13 at 7:30 p.m.
In between these shows, there will be no shortage of entertainment, including a rodeo, an off-road demo derby and a tractor pull.

While at the fair, visitors will also find commercial vendors, different barns for livestock, a historical village, an agricultural hall and antiques.
