MUSKEGON, Mich. — Muskegon Bike Time is now in its 18th year. Organizers said they're ready to welcome motorcyclists and the general public to Downtown Muskegon and the lakeshore from July 17 through 21.
The annual festival celebrates those who love to ride and those who love to just watch the phenomenon that descends on Muskegon the third weekend in July every year.
Tens of thousands of people flock to Downtown Muskegon annually to enjoy the festival. People travel from all over the country to enjoy the bikes, live music, shopping, food, bike shows, contests and competitions.
“Muskegon Bike Time offers motorcycle riders beautiful scenic rides along the shores of Lake Michigan and as well as winding roads through picturesque forests and interesting small towns, said Tim Lipan, spokesperson for Muskegon Bike Time. “In addition to providing an economic boon to the area, attendees are treated to exciting attractions, entertainment, food and shopping.”

Wednesday, July 17, 2024.
- 5 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.: Velvet Mushroom Syndicate - Stinging 70’s & 80’s Psychedelic Funk. This band is fun and dangerous. Every show is an adventure!
- 8 p.m. – 10 p.m.: Soul Syndicate - an Award-Winning R&B, Funk, Soul and Horn Band that provides a party and entertainment experience you won’t forget.
Thursday, July 18, 2024.
- 5 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.: ID10T5 – known for their energetic and versatile performances. They cover a great mix of genres, primarily focusing on a rock vibe, and are known for their engaging live shows and entertainment.
- 8 p.m. – 11 p.m.: Jedi Mind Trip - Combines excellent vocals and great musicians for an awesome night of rock & roll music. Entertaining Michigan audiences and beyond for more than 27 years Jedi Mind Trip plays the music that moves you. Songs from 70s,80s,90s - Journey to Bon Jovi, Johnny Cash to Neil Diamond, Blink 182 to Blondie.

- 3 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.: The Illustrated - Is an original alternative/rock band based in Atlanta, Ga. Their music stems from a variety of different influences including Kings of Leon, Matchbox Twenty, The Cure, and many more. Their energetic live show is engaging and full of upbeat tracks laced in with the occasional heart-felt ballad.
- 5 p.m. – 6 p.m.: Jiff & the Choosy Mothers – This reunion show of one of West Michigan’s favorite bands in the late 90's through early 2000's. The music changes gears from rock, pop punk, ska, reggae, and funk, to rap metal with catchy hooks and smart lyrics fits alongside alternative rock bands such as Green Day, Sublime, Smashmouth, Beck, and Rage Against the Machine.
- 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.: Toxxic – A Biker favorite, Toxxic plays rock music from the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and Today! From AC/DC, Kidd Rock, & Theory of a Deadman…..If it Rocks They’re playing it.
- 9 p.m. – 11 p.m.: Let There Be Rock - The Ultimate AC/DC Tribute Band Experience. “Let There Be Rock” emulates the pure essence, power, and electricity of what an AC/DC show is all about.

- 1 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.: Whiskey Rebels -. The Whiskey Rebels have been rocking the Midwest for over a decade. Bringing high energy, rockin' country music to fans all over.
- 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.: Big Cadillac – A biker bar staple, Big Cadillac covers all the classic rock, country and blues hits from 5 decades (1960’s to Present).
- 8 p.m. – 11 p.m.: KatMandu – Bob Seger Tribute Band - KatMandu, is the Midwest's premier Bob Seger Tribute Band, performing the greatest classic rock hits from one of this generation’s finest songwriters. From “Ramblin’ Gamblin’ Man” to today you’ll hear Bob’s music just the way you remember it!

- Harley-Davidson Demo Truck.
- Take a spin on a new 2024 Motorcycle when the Harley-Davidson Demo Truck visits Muskegon Bike Time. There will be 17 models of bikes to choose from including a Trike. Riders will be able to test ride any model they wish at their leisure and on their own. A valid driver’s license with motorcycle endorsement and proper riding attire is required. Friday and Saturday 9am – 4pm
- West Michigan Arm Wrestling Championships.
- Think you have what it takes? Join the 2024 West Michigan Arm Wrestling Championships. Saturday, July 20, 2024. Weigh-ins and registrations from 10am to 12pm. Competition begins at 1pm. Open to all.
- Miss Bike Time Bikini Contest
- $1,000 cash prize. Winner take all. Saturday, July 20, 2024 from 3:00pm – 4:00 pm. Pre-registration is encouraged but not required.
- Dad Bod Contest
- $250 cash. Saturday, July 20, 2024 at 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm.
- Hot Babe Bike Wash
- Get that road dust off your ride at "Hot Babe Bike Wash Station" on Friday and Saturday at Hot Rod Harley Davidson.
- Corn Hole Shootout Competition
- Bikes & Bags Cornhole Tournament with cash prizes. Anyone can play. Anyone can win. Friday, July 19, 2024 at 5:30 pm – 9:00pm at Hot Rod Harley Davidson.
- Tattoo Contest
- A Tattoo Contests like no other – offering prizes for both those exhibiting their ink and the artists who did the work! Additionally, the contests feature an interactive format that allows folks to see the work being showcased up-close. Participants and guests get to vote on their favorite work and possibly interact a little – allowing a much more fun and informal event.
- Muskegon Bike Time DART Challenge
- Calling all dart throwers! Win prizes and show off your skills at the Bike Time DART Challenge. Two sessions will be held Friday, July 19 and Saturday, July 20, 2024 from 4pm – 8pm. Prizes awarded each night.
