MUSKEGON, Mich. — For the ninth year, Burning Foot Festival is returning to Muskegon to bring a selection of beer, art and music to Pere Marquette Beach.

As one of the largest beer festivals in Michigan, hundreds of different brews will be available for festivalgoers to try, as well as seltzers. Local favorites like Bell's Brewery, Brewery Vivant and Founders will be setting up booths—but dozens of breweries will be in attendance to choose from.

Artwork has also become an integral part of the Burning Foot Festival. The iconic Flaming Hop Tower, which is set up in the center of the festival and shoots flames, is returning for the eighth year. There will also be an interactive graffiti wall.

Once you've got your beer, you can catch some live music from local artists and get a bite from food trucks on site.

New this year, a free shuttle will run from noon until 11 p.m. with a pickup and drop-off location near the Delta Marriott Hotel downtown and another stop near the Grand Trunk boat launch. The shuttles will be running continuously. For more information, click here.

This year, there will not be a selection of wine, cider or liquor due to legal restrictions. Only beer and seltzer samples will be offered.

The Burning Foot Festival is taking place on Saturday, Aug. 24 from 3 p.m. until 10 p.m. Tickets are $60 per person in advance and $80 per person on the day of. Ticket sales go live on Saturday, June 8.
