GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — "Donut" worry, "beer" happy! The Donut & Beer Festival is returning to Grand Rapids with a variety of donut vendors and breweries in attendance.

This is the nation's first donut and beer fest, where local donuts, beers and ciders are paired up for attendees to sample. Vendors from across the state will be participating.

At this year's festival, there will be up to 30 donut vendors to choose from, and samplings from over 50 Michigan breweries. There will also be nonalcoholic options. The vendors for this year's festival will be announced in the coming weeks.

Families can also enjoy yard games, live music, entertainment and more.

“We can’t wait to bring this event back to Grand Rapids. The community came out in full force at our 2019 event and we are taking this event to new heights,” said Brian Colopy, founder of the Donut and Beer Festival.

The Donut and Beer Fest is taking place at LMCU Ballpark on May 6 from 2-6 p.m.

Anyone interested in attending the event should join the priority list to gain first access to tickets, as the fest has sold out for the past six years. It was last held in Grand Rapids in 2019 and has been held previously in Kalamazoo, Battle Creek, and even Columbus, Ohio.
