ROTHBURY, Mich. - It brings thousands of people, lots of money and a whole lot of traffic to Oceana and Muskegon counties over the course of two weekends every year.
But now the Electric Forest Festival in Rothbury will only be one weekend long. Festival organizers said on their website that protecting the grounds of Electric Forest is important to them and their decision to downsize to one weekend comes with conservation and longevity in mind.
Wristbands and lodging packages for Electric Forest 2019 will go on sale Friday, Dec. 7. The event will run June 27 through 30.
