The Felt Mansion is considered to be one of the most haunted attractions in Michigan.

SAUGATUCK, Mich. — With spooky season fast approaching, are you eager to immerse yourself in the paranormal? This October, you'll have the opportunity to do that alongside some seasoned professionals at the Felt Estate.

Completed in 1928, the Felt Estate is considered one of the most haunted attractions in Michigan. It was built by Dorr Felt for his wife, Agnes. The property covers 1,000 acres and includes a chapel and carriage house.

After the Felt family left the home in 1949, the property housed a seminary and briefly served as a Michigan State Police post and prison.

Now, the Felt Estate acts as a historic site that offers self-guided tours throughout the year, as well as a wedding venue from May to October.

This fall, the estate will be hosting multiple paranormal events—including the chance to tag along on a professional ghost hunt and search for spirits on your own.

Several sessions of "Hauntings and History Nights," the annual paranormal tour the estate hosts, will be offered this year. Visitors will learn about the history of the mansion and hear about alleged hauntings that have taken place on the grounds.

There will then be a 90-minute self-guided tour where visitors can use ghost-hunting tools as they explore the grounds.

New this year, you can hear from Adam Berry, co-star of the Travel Channel's "Kindred Spirits," as well as John E.L. Tenney and Jessica Knapik, who run the "What's Up Weirdo" podcast.

Called “Unveiling the Unseen: A Paranormal Experience," this new event gives visitors a chance to talk with Berry about his experiences hunting the supernatural.

VIP ticket holders will be taken on an exclusive tour through the mansion and carriage house as Berry, Tenney and Knapik ghost hunt. Only 40 people will be able to join them on each tour—and as of Friday, there are only 14 tickets remaining.

Hauntings and History Nights will be held Oct. 31, Nov. 1 and Nov. 2 at 7 p.m., 8 p.m. and 9 p.m.

Unveiling the Unseen will be held Oct. 25, Oct. 26 and Oct. 27 at 7 p.m.
