GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — If you're still looking for something to do ahead of Thanksgiving dinner, Kids' Food Basket has you covered! The 18th annual Gobble Wobble Fun Run and Walk is happening the morning of Thanksgiving, and there's still time to register.

Kids' Food Basket (KFB) hosts the 5K each year to raise money for their nonprofit, which serves Sack Suppers to thousands of children in Kent, Allegan, Muskegon and Ottawa counties each day.

“We look forward to sharing this day of gratitude with our community every year,” said KFB’s VP of Communications and Community Initiatives, Kim Moore. “The energy around Gobble Wobble is always palpable as people line up with their loved ones, sometimes even in costume! It’s a fun way to begin the holiday while making an impact.”

Before the 5K is the kids' Widdle Wobble race, which is a shorter course that is open to kids 12 and younger. It is free to register!

The 5K kicks off directly after the kids' race concludes. Registration is $35 per person and is open until Nov. 22 at 11:59 p.m.

KFB is also looking for volunteers to help at the event. To register for the race or volunteer, click here.
