GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — The Grand Rapids Public Museum is hosting its third annual Free Day on Sunday, March 15.
Museum-goers will have the chance to see some of the museum's exhibits for free from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
TOYS! and Design Zone will be available to browse for free, however, the museum's new Bodies Revealed exhibit will only be accessible through payment.
The vice president of marketing and PR for the museum said they are thrilled to offer another free day to the Grand Rapids community in partnership with the Kent County Farm Bureau.
"...it continues to give the gift of curiosity for visitors of all to explore science, history and culture at the museum without the barrier of an admission fee," said Kate Kocienski.
The farm bureau will host hands-on activities to educate and engage the community on the farming and agriculture lifestyle.
Visitors can take part in an apple taste test and vote on their favorite apple variety, learn how to milk a cow by interacting with Casey the Cow, a life-size cow figure.
