Grand Rapids Pulaski Days returns for 52nd year

Get ready to do the polka! Live music, dancing and food can be found at the annual celebration.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — The Knights of Saint Casimir 6th Street is kicking off its 52nd annual Pulaski Days Fest this weekend.

The event celebrates General Pulaski, an American Revolutionary War hero and Polish immigrant.

Festival organizers said this weekend is not just an event, but an opportunity to make lasting memories with family and friends.

Those attending Polish social clubs across Grand Rapids can expect to see lots of dancing, live music, bingo, raffles and an abundance of Polish foods like pierogis and Kielbasa sausage.

There will also be a Pulaski Days Parade at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 5. The parade will begin at Valley and Fulton and end at Seward and Fulton.
