GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — For two nights only, John Ball Zoo will be transforming into an escape room game called "Locked Zoo: Dinosaur Dash."

The adults-only experience will give guests the opportunity to explore the zoo, solve dinosaur-themed puzzles and race against the clock to escape.

“For the first time, John Ball Zoo is welcoming guests to explore the Zoo in an entirely new way and work together to solve puzzles and other mysteries,” said Darci Mitchell, promotions and events manager. “This is a great opportunity for a fun night out with friends to explore the zoo with no children and contribute to the conservation of wildlife and wild places.”

The dinosaur theme, including the name "Dinosaur Dash", comes as the zoo is currently set up for Dino Adventures, complete with over 20 robotic dinosaurs set up throughout the zoo.

Your team can be made up of one to six people over 18.

Locked Zoo: Dinosaur Dash will happen on Friday, Sept. 27 and Friday, Oct. 4. The event runs from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., and guests are encouraged to give themselves about two hours to complete the game.

Tickets are $30 for members and $35 for nonmembers. You can get your tickets online now.
