GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Saturday, November 11 the Michigan Heroes Museum will host their "Heroes Next Door" celebration at the JW Marriott in Grand Rapids.
The event will spotlight Western Michigan's community heroes, "honoring, respecting, and remembering Michigan's invaluable contributions to our military and space programs," said event organizers.
They're expecting over 500 attendees, including business leaders, philanthropists and military veterans.
The event will also be hosting various speakers such as James McCloughan, Vietnam War Medal of Honor recipient, and Greg Johnson, a celebrated NASA Astronaut.
"Through this Veterans Day celebration, we do more than remember our heroes; we empower their legacies," said John Ryder, Executive Director of the Michigan Heroes Museum. "With the community's support, we're fortifying our mission to Honor, Respect, and Remember our Michigan Heroes, reaching wider audiences and preserving their stories for future generations."
Tickets and more information about the event can be found at miheroes.org.
