GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — This Friday you have the chance to support some local businesses and enjoy some delicious food from the comfort of your own car
There will be a Food Truck Drive Thru on May 15. The event is happening from 5 to 9 p.m. at 1535 Monroe Ave. NW in Grand Rapids.
According to the Facebook event, vendors will have online ordering available and customers will be able to wait in their vehicles for their food deliveries.
On Friday, the vendors at the Food Truck Drive Thru will be Patty Matters and Barry G's Italian Ice. Organizer, Matt Rubino, said on Facebook this the first of future events that will feature other food trucks.
Rubino asks that after customers get their food, they find a new location to enjoy it -- that way customers can adhere social distancing guidelines and ensure the area doesn't get too crowded.
