GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Women of West Michigan, a popular event is coming back in March!

Starting in 1998, the West Michigan Women's Expo has brought hundreds of women-focused businesses to the area. This year, the three-day expo will be the largest consumer event for women in West Michigan.

It's planned for the weekend of March 15-17 at DeVos Place. On Friday and Saturday, it'll be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Sunday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Whether you're looking for the latest fashion trends, health and wellness tips, home décor inspiration or just retail therapy, the expo promises something for all.

“We’re delighted to bring our successful Women’s Expo to Grand Rapids by hosting an expo that truly offers something for every woman, from fashion to health and fitness to home décor and more,” said Pam Glass, President of Kohler Expos, Inc. “We look forward to our March expo in Grand Rapids, which promises a weekend of enjoyment, education and entertainment for women of all ages.”

At the event, hundreds of vendors are expected to fill DeVos Place. You can find permanent jewelry, hairstyling, self-defense tips, meet-and-greets with local authors and more. You can even donate blood at the Community Blood Drive.

Plenty of food will be available as well. While shopping, attendees may sample food of various show favorites including pickles, dips, cakes, fudge, truffle bars, pan candies, cookies, bread, donuts, pies, cinnamon rolls, wine slushy mix, jerky, beef sticks, salsa, granola, seasonings, honey, teas and licorice.

The event center will be decked out by Everett’s Landscape Management, Inc. with flowers and greenery. On the stage will be the Floral Universe Fashion Show, featuring models aged 8 to 28 showing off their custom headpieces and floral wings. It's part of the Thelma Clark Organization for Youth Advancement, a program mentoring girls and young women.

Organizers will also be giving away a variety of prizes through the game of BLINGO, a version of BINGO with a little more pizzazz.
