WYOMING, Michigan — The City of Wyoming's annual carnival is back and this year it is here to kickoff the summer.
After several years being held during the Spring, the Wyoming annual carnival is set to kick off on Friday, June 21 at 12 p.m.
The carnival will return to Lamar Park, located at 2561 Porter St SW.
Carnival rides, food, games and prizes are all ready to be enjoyed while ticket sales from the event will go to support youth scholarships and programming through the Wyoming Parks and Recreation Department.
“The Carnival is a great opportunity for people of all ages to come out and celebrate summer,” said Krashawn Martin, director of Wyoming Parks & Recreation. “It’s a chance for us to build on a community tradition that funds a good cause impacting youth in Wyoming.”
