Local business offering 'to go' crafts for families at home

Hammer & Stain offering fun crafts to do at home

GRANDVILLE, Mich — Stuck at home during social distancing? Running out of ways to entertain the kids? Looking for something fun to do as a family? Or, looking for a special quarantine date-night in?

This week, Hammer & Stain West Michigan, a local DIY craft studio, launched a new “Hammer at Home” initiative, making popular projects available for pick-up from the workshop to be completed at home.

Customers may pre-order specific projects and paint/stain colors through the studio’s website, or they may choose from a wide selection of projects and available stencils at the workshop during pick-up hours. All projects include the necessary materials and instructions to create the project in the comfort of your home.

“As parents ourselves, we understand how quickly kids can grow restless at home while school is closed,” said Jennifer VanStrien, Owner of Hammer & Stain West Michigan. “We’ve selected some of our most popular project styles and put together designs that will be tons of fun for our little ‘makers’ to complete at home.”

In addition to kids’ projects, Hammer & Stain is also offering their most popular designs from classes that are normally targeted at adults. These fully customizable kits are perfect for seasonal home décor or gifts for friends.

All the different Hammer at Home options from Hammer & Stain West Michigan can be found on their website at www.HammerandStainWestMichigan.com.
