20 Monroe Live currently is under construction next to The B.O.B. and will seat around 2,000 people, organizers say.
Greg Gilmore, who owns the B.O.B. entertainment complex and the Gilmore Collection of restaurants in West Michigan, says 20 Monroe Live will also book weddings, festivals, private parties and corporate meetings.
They expect to host at least 200 events per year and hire about 150 employees.
Organizers say the new venue, a new beer garden and the restaurants, bars and clubs in the B.O.B next door will provide a “complete experience” for guests.
