GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — The Foo Fighters are going on tour to celebrate their 25th anniversary together as a band, and they're making a stop in Grand Rapids.
The band will perform at Van Andel Arena on Tuesday, May 12 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets go on sale Friday, Feb. 21 at 10 a.m.
The Van Tour will stop in cities that guitarists Dave Grohl, Nate Mendel and Pat Smear traveled to in a Doge van for their first tour together as a band back in 1995.
"ARE YOU READY???" the band tweeted Tuesday morning. "Join the Foos in commemorating their 25th anniversary by revisiting stops along their 1995 tour!"
Each concert will feature a sneak peak at Grohl's new documentary "WHAT DRIVES US." According to Rolling Stone, the documentary explores the mindset that compels musicians to leave behind family and friends to spend several months touring the country.
If you can't make it to the show in Grand Rapids, the band will stop in Cincinnati and Cleveland.
