Our friends at the Free Beer and Hot Wings show played in front of a live audience over the weekend.
Free Beer and Hot Wings: Live at Night was held in front of a packed house of more than 2,200 people at DeVos Performance Hall Saturday, April 2.
Lauren, Dan and Aaron were there, too.
They played a game of charades on stage, facing off against Hot Wings, Joe and Steve. Team WZZM 13 won, thanks mostly to Lauren, who has been crowned the Queen of Charades.
The guys also decided to see how they would do behind the news desk. We helped them out by letting them use our studio to record an intro of Joe and Steve reading the news, Free Beer doing weather (while wearing Alana Nehring's famous weather dress) and Hot Wings calling sports highlights.
Lee Van Ameyde helped out too, reading the lyrics to popular songs as if they were the script to a news story. Steve even put together a blooper reel because Lee couldn't hold it together during some of those recordings.
This is the second year Free Beer and Hot Wings have held a performance at DeVos Performance Hall.
