GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — The December/January issue of West Michigan Woman is out and the magazine continues to expand its reach by continuing to highlight a diverse group of women on its cover. This month features Paola Mendivil and her story.
Mendivil is part of a local family business and an advocate for Latina woman in the community. She was born in Mexico City and eventually moved to Grand Rapids where she was able to attend school and went to Grand Rapids Commnity College. Mendivil and her family own El Granjero Mexican Grill.
Paola Mendivil has been part of numerous community based organizations that build up the Latino community in Grand Rapids, including the West Michigan Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, the Latino Community Coalition and GROW.
