GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — It's spooky season and there are a bunch of fun Halloween festivities in West Michigan happening this weekend.
Shardae Jefferson, with GRNow.com, gives us the rundown on what's going on.
On Thursday, Oct. 24 from 7 to 8 p.m. Gray Skies Distillery is turning down the lights for a special Halloween yoga session called Halloween Glowga. The Feral Yogi will guide participants through a 60-minute yoga session with their DropSound headphone set to the theme of Stranger Things and other spooky beats.
Wear your blacks, whites, neons, or even a Halloween costume, and the glo-sticks will be supplied (but yoga mats won't, so bring your own). After a frightful flow, enjoy spooky drink specials and hang out. To purchase tickets, click here.
Also happening this weekend, John Ball Zoo will be hosting their Zoo Goes Boo! event. It's happened from Oct. 25 to Oct. 27 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. Dress up for trick-or-treating, see the zoo all decked out in spooky decorations and visit the animals. For ticket information click here.
