GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Gray Skies Distillery is now Eastern Kille Distillery! Kille (pronounced “kill,” with emphasis on the “l”) is a Middle Dutch for riverbank.
Co-owner Brandon Voorhees stopped by to tell us about the name change and share some holiday drink recipes.
The drinks are made with their new Michigan Straight Bourbon Whiskey It's available anywhere you’d purchase other fine spirits throughout Michigan.
Hot Butter Bourbon
1.5 oz bourbon (preferably Michigan Straight from Eastern Kille)
1 small pad of butter, unsalted
Top with warm apple cider
Optional to add nutmeg, cinnamon or allspice or lemon zest
