Owners Steve and Molli Laham opened their chocolate factory in July 2012 with the help of their two sons Nick and Zach.
The family-owned business from Grand Haven makes decadent confections on-site and in sight using chocolate with no artificial ingredients, preservatives, or waxes.
Steve and Molli focus on using local and Michigan-made ingredients in their gourmet confections to ensure the highest quality products.
When visiting Chocolates by Grimaldi, guests will be welcomed with free samples and an amazing view of their 30-foot 1950’s enrober.
The chocolate factory is not only a shop, it is truly a destination where families and friends can also schedule factory tours to learn about the chocolate making process and learn more about the history of chocolate.
If you’re not sure what to try on your first visit, one of the shop’s top sellers is a gourmet chocolate candy called Chips ‘N Chocolate. This combination of Michigan-made potato chips covered in creamy milk chocolate is a sensational marriage of sweet and salty, with a kick of crunch.
But it just keeps getting sweeter for the chocolate lovers because if you’re unable to visit the factory, Chocolates by Grimaldi can ship their products anywhere for you!
They also offer 90-minute creative chocolate classes, where you will learn about chocolate and have fun with friends and family. You will be able to create, design, and make your own unique and special chocolate bar creation.
