It's almost time for the 23rd annual Bid for Bachelors and Bachelorettes

See what's new at this year's big event.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — It's time to suit up, get glam and start bidding because Bid for Bachelors and Bachelorettes is fast approaching!

This the the 23rd year for the auction-style fundraiser. It will take place on Saturday March 7 in the grand ballroom of the JW Marriott Grand Rapids.  

Bids for Bachelors and Bachelorettes is put on each year to support Friends and Families of Cystic Fibrosis, an all volunteer nonprofit organization. All the proceeds from Bid for Bachelors and Bachelorettes stays in West Michigan and used to help those with cystic fibrosis and their families. 

There is a total of 35 bachelors, bachelorettes and couples up for bid offering a myriad of different date packages -- everything from getaway weekends, fishing trips, certificates to local restaurants and breweries and more. You can see all the 2020 bachelors and bachelorettes right here. Check it daily for updates to their packages and additions to the list.

Doors for the March 7 event open at 5:30 p.m. Opening remarks take place at 6:30 p.m. with live bidding beginning after that.  The silent auction opens at 5:30 p.m.  Tickets are $30 in advance and $35 at the door.
