GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — This is the 2nd year of the Wags & Whiskers fundraising event and all proceeds will benefit C-SNIP.
C-SNIP offers high quality, reduced cost spay/neuter surgeries to both individual pet owners and to local rescue organizations at their clinic in Kentwood.
Grants and charitable donations allow the organization to reduce their fees even further when a pet owner has a financial hardship. More than 80% of C-SNIP clients are referred to the organization by word of mouth and approximately 75% don’t have a regular veterinarian.
In 2018, C-SNIP performed 11,390 spay/neuter surgeries, preventing thousands of unwanted puppies and kittens that would have end up homeless or in shelters.
The Wags and Whiskers event will help raise critical funds to ensure that C-SNIP's vital service is available to everyone, regardless of their ability to pay.
The event will features a strolling reception with delicious appetizers & complimentary wine and beer. It will also include a $20 “wine pull”- take your chances picking a wrapped bottle of wine for just $20.
Bottles are valued between $15-$110 each. Craft beer pull is $5 per “pull” and features individual bottles of craft beer from some of your favorite breweries.
Have fun with friends at the photo booth and post your pics to your social media. Get a jump on your holiday shopping or buy something for yourself at the “spaytacular” silent auction.
For those looking to educate themselves more on the organization, there will be a brief program highlighting C-SNIP’s impact in the West Michigan.
