41st Annual West Michigan Home & Garden Show kicks off March 5

West Michigan’s largest Home & Garden show is back for its 41st season at DeVos Place on Thursday, March 5 through Sunday, March 8.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — West Michigan's largest Home & Garden show is back for its 41 season! 

With 13 feature gardens, 5 free seminar stages and over 350 exhibitors featuring every product and service you’ll ever need, all under one roof, this is the show to attend!

A dozen gorgeous Indoor Gardens, including the feature garden created by the Association of Grand Rapids Landscape Professionals (AGRLP).

The 2020 Gardens Theme: “Great Escapes” All of their featured landscapers have designed their gardens around one shared theme. Come marvel at their unique visions. Visitors will have the chance to vote for their favorite!

Join Garden Stage headliner Dr. Robert Geneve from the University of Kentucky on Friday and Saturday when he discusses Hardworking Plants That Attract Pollinators, and he describes the “dating dance” of flowering plants and pollinators.

The Canning DivaDiane Devereaux, headlines the Garden to Table Stagesharing her tips and tricks to fill your pantry with canned goods.  Join Diane and other experts to learn how to grow, enjoy, and preserve your own fruits and vegetables.

Pull up a chair and join local and regional experts at the Home Stage! Discover 2020’s hot design trends, how to organize your home, how to create a perfect flower arrangement, how to tap into renewable energy sources, or how to fix that leaky faucet!

Cooking Demonstrations will take place all four days on the Standard Kitchens Cooking Stage. Chef Angus Campbell prepares Heart Healthy Noodle Bowls with Lightly Smoked Seafood; and Chef Tommy FitzGerald makes everyone’s favorite — Pizza! — on the DTE Energy Grilling Deck.

uBloom Flower Power Challenge Local celebrities compete for their favorite charities in this hilarious floral design competition at 6:00 pm Friday, on the Home Stage.

Gardeners, get your first look at the 2020 National Plants of the Year from Proven Winners®

Grand Gallery Garden Path         
Stroll down the Grand Gallery Garden Path to draw inspiration from the show’s garden center and charming pocket gardens!

The Garden and Art Market        
A Show within the Show!  Browse dozens of booths of unique and inspired garden accessories, plants, decor, art and gifts from the area’s best artists, finest nurseries, and gift shops.

Family Day will take place on Saturday and includes Free admission before noon for kids 14 and under, plus loads of activities, events, features, crafts and seminars for kids and parents and grandparents.

Pancake Breakfast is happening 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. on Saturday. It will feature all you can eat cakes, sausage, coffee and orange drink for $6 (kids under 15 are $4), with proceeds going to support the Kent/MSU Extension Grand Ideas Garden. (note that main exhibit halls open at 10 a.m.!).

  • Saturday, March 7: 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. 
  • Sunday, March 8: 11 a.m. - 6 p.m.

  • Adult: $10 Online / $12 At the Door
  • Child (6-14): $4
