Area Agency on Aging of West Michigan offers 'Friends' program for people experiencing dementia

The Friends program exists to help both patients and their caregivers.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — There are more than 5 million people living with some form of dementia in the United States.  

The Area Agency on Aging of West Michigan Dementia "Friends" program exists to help, both patients and their caregivers.  Or, for those who wish to help others, there are "Dementia Champions."
